!!DONGLES IN THE STUDIO etc!!

So yeah....Its been a while since wev'e updated our blog but all for a good cause, I think. anyway there is a bunch of new and exciting news to be told so here goes: first off, we are now recording a full length album that we are hoping to release it sometime in the spring. all of our tracks are being recorded by Alex Marse, a music industry studies major at Loyola University. the album is being recorded at Loyola's Vital Sounds studio!!! hell yah. Were hoping to do 12 tracks and have all of our heavy shit including our 16 minute epic "O brother where art thou mind-O sister where art thou soul" so we'll keep you guys posted on the happenings with that.

Bio

Dongles was founded by Guitarist and vocalist Dexter Gilmore and Drummer Alex Legge in October 2009. The name was brought up by Alex Legge who explained that the name is an allusion to our current society and how we are the age of technology. soon after, the band played their first show on December 3rd with Local New Orleans duo High in One Eye, and Spelling bee, a post punk duo from St. Louis Missouri. Their sound has been described as things such as "ballsy Mathrock with some Siracha" as well as "Jazz going through a blender" since Dongles has started they have self released two EP's The Dongles EP and The Crash EP. They are currently working on a full length scheduled to release in the spring entitled The Note That Broke The MotherBoard.
