DONGLES

Bio

Dongles was founded by Guitarist and vocalist Dexter Gilmore and Drummer Alex Legge in October 2009. The name was brought up by Alex Legge who explained that the name is an allusion to our current society and how we are the age of technology. soon after, the band played their first show on December 3rd with Local New Orleans duo High in One Eye, and Spelling bee, a post punk duo from St. Louis Missouri. Their sound has been described as things such as "ballsy Mathrock with some Siracha" as well as "Jazz going through a blender" since Dongles has started they have self released two EP's The Dongles EP and The Crash EP. They are currently working on a full length scheduled to release in the spring entitled The Note That Broke The MotherBoard.
